Craving

Played around with some new techniques for this one. I drew the girl on paper, took a photo, then cleaned it up in photoshop. Not perfect, but fun to do. I tried to give her eyes a look of craving to fit this weeks Illustration Friday theme.

I'm playing with a new style, so far sticking with a square format for composition and exploring within that space with texture and contrast. It's nice to not worry about character or content and just get back to exploring pure composition.

Kitten Impossible

Playing around with a new technique in Photoshop, using and creating various crosshatch brushes. I was doing clean line work for so long it feels good to get back to doing a bit of texture work. This was done in response to this weeks Illustration Friday theme: impossibility.
